Ehsaas Sarprast Programme For Widows Women 2023 Registration Details

The Punjab Government launched the Ehsaas Sarprast Programme for widowed women in April 2023, as part of their ongoing efforts to provide social protection and financial assistance to vulnerable segments of society. This program aims to provide monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,000 to deserving widowed women who do not have any other source of income.

This initiative comes on the heels of the successful launch of the Ehsaas Bahimat Buzurg Program, which provides financial aid to elderly citizens above the age of 65. The disbursement of ATM cards to elderly citizens is already underway, allowing them to receive Rs. 2,000 in assistance on a monthly basis. In the first phase, the target was set to register 2,274 elderly individuals across the district.

The government is currently working on the registration process, and information regarding registration centers, application forms, and the Bank ATM procedure will be added to this post as soon as it becomes available. NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) is also involved in collecting data on elderly widowed women in Punjab as part of this program.
