Education in China-both ridiculous and sad

Education in China-both ridiculous and sad

On the surface, China’s education is reforming, but the front-line educators, students and parents know nothing better. I don't know what the senior education circles think about the current educational reform, the situation and results of quality education. But there is no need for you to argue, facts are the best evidence, and facts will prove everything!

Let me give an example. Our geography teacher once told us about her own experience. She said that geography is a liberal arts in high school, while geography-related departments in universities are specialized in science. Therefore, in the college entrance examination, geography-related departments only recruit science students. She is a science student. After the college entrance examination, she was admitted to the Geography Department of Teachers College. Because of her science in high school, she didn't learn much about geography, but she took the university geography class directly. After graduation, she was assigned to this high school to teach us geography. So, it is conceivable that in the first few months of arriving at school, she desperately taught herself high school geography. Speaking of this, please think about it, how absurd is it that someone who has never studied high school geography teaches students high school geography? Think about it again, she went to high school Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, biology, and studied mathematics, English, and geography in the university, but in the end she didn't use it on the podium! She wasted seven years (three years in high school, four years in college) for nothing! No, not her, but Chinese education ruined the most precious youth in her life! What a sorrow this is!

Since entering junior high school, students have to completely ignore health, safety, and quality, and sprint for the high school entrance examination after three years of test-oriented education.

Every morning, arrive at school before six o'clock, and even more than five o'clock. At noon, it only takes half an hour to eat and rest, and it takes only one hour for a more relaxed school. In the evening, the first and second grades never end school before 7:00, and the third grade usually ends after 9:00, and even at half past ten. Therefore, in recent years, it is not uncommon for parents and students to be robbed and killed in accidents due to tiredness and time-riding students riding bicycles in the morning and picking up students at night. I don't know whether this education is to cultivate students' awareness of safety or to create chaos in society. The so-called weekends are nothing for students, only half a day off.

Nowadays, schools generally have two types of timetables, one for general classes. This type of timetable only has language, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, politics, history, geography, biology, and sports. The other type is of course used when inspecting by the Bureau of Education and the Department of Education. This kind of curriculum includes not only the classes on the previous curriculum, but also music, art, health, labor, physical activity, and information technology. Education, safety education class. It looks rich and colorful, and I don’t even know it. What makes parents and students even more angry is that the books of these subjects are distributed as usual, so that more than half of the books every school year, which could serve quality education, eventually become "scrap books"! Although the information technology education class is not available, the computer fee is still collected. This is like selling dog meat. I really don’t know whether this education reform drama is played for myself or for others. When will it be performed!

Schools generally have a political and religious office, and the so-called political and religious office is more of a corporal punishment office. In addition to ideological education for students with minor mistakes, the director of the Political and Education Office also beats and scolds students, especially those who argue with him. Some directors educate students on the broadcast to be polite and civilized. After a while, when he talked about a certain phenomenon, he was full of swear words and scolded the students, but he didn't know it. This is the "example" teachers set for students!

After the curriculum reform, the textbooks, especially the language documents, are extremely inconsistent with the high school entrance and college entrance examination models, so that when the curriculum is tight, the teacher only talks about the ancient poems and classical Chinese, and they also teach in addition to the books, and the exam is required. The content, obviously a large part of the textbook has become waste paper. I really don’t know if this is a waste of paper or to reduce the burden on students.

The author is a person who loves to write. Under the name of quality education, which is actually test-oriented education, he has also become a victim and has to succumb to test-oriented education. The teacher is right: "Human energy is limited. You cannot take full care of learning and writing. Regardless of education reforms and curriculum reforms, as long as the method of selecting talents remains the same, the mode of high school and college entrance examinations remains the same, which means that there is no progress. For reforms, we still have to follow the baton of the high school entrance examination and the college entrance examination. Although some universities have begun to implement independent enrollment, it is very small, and it does not directly recruit talents with specialties. It still needs not low college entrance examination scores, and more Some students have been "eliminated" as early as after the high school entrance examination. In recent years, the talent market has often screamed: "There are no senior technical talents, no specialists! "Is there really no one?" - "Woohoo, there is no evil in it, and there is no such thing as a horse. "

In the past few years, a letter from Peking University Gao Caisheng to the principal called "I Hate You", to Han Han's "Wearing a Bath in a Cotton Jacket" in recent years, the criticism and condemnation of the Chinese education system has never ceased. I believe, If China’s education system remains the same, more people will definitely criticize it. But I also hope that Chinese educators can better reflect and make more thorough reforms. Don't leave "feudal remnants". Finally, I still wish China's education will be better and better!
